The Formal Inverse of the Period-Doubling Sequence
If $p$ is a prime number, consider a $p$-automatic sequence $(u_n)_{n\ge 0}$, and let $U(X) = \sum_{n\ge 0} u_n X^n \in \mathbb{F}_p[[X]]$ be its generating function. Assume that there exists a formal power series $V(X) = \sum_{n\ge 0} v_n X^n \in \mathbb{F}_p[[X]]$ which is the compositional inverse of $U$, i.e., $U(V(X))=X=V(U(X))$.

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

On the almost convergence of double sequences
We find necessary and sufficient conditions for transformations of double sequences almost convergent in the sense of G.H. Hardy to double sequences convergent in the sense of F. Pringsheim. The results extend the work of F. Móricz and B.E.

Matrix transformations of double convergent sequences with powers [PDF]
In 1967, I. J. Maddox generalized the spaces c0, c, ââ by adding the powers pk (k â â) in the definitions of the spaces to the terms of elements of sequences (xk). Gökhan and Ãolak in 2004â2006 defined the corresponding double sequence spaces

Hankel matrices for the period-doubling sequence
We give an explicit evaluation, in terms of products of Jacobsthal numbers, of the Hankel determinants of order a power of two for the period-doubling sequence. We also explicitly give the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the corresponding Hankel matrices. Similar considerations give the Hankel determinants for other orders.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Complementary means and double sequences
We look after the complementary means with respect to a weighted geometric mean of Stolarsky means in the family of Gini means and in the family of Stolarsky means.

Matrix Transformations of Double Convergent Sequences with Powers for the Pringsheim Convergence
In 2004–2006, the corresponding double sequence spaces were defined for the Pringsheim and the bounded Pringsheim convergence by Gokhan and Colak. In 2009, Colak and Mursaleen characterized some classes of matrix transformations transforming the space of

After a brief summary of Tauberian conditions for ordinary sequences of numbers, we consider summability of double sequences of real or complex numbers by weighted mean methods which are not necessarily products of related weighted mean methods in one ...

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.
