Improved extraction efficiency by double‐soak, filtration‐extraction process
Journal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, 1961AbstractA simple and inexpensive modification of the filtration extraction process has been described which permits improved extraction efficieney and reduced solvent requirements over that presently obtained. It comprises an additional soaking step, which can be readily incorporated.Bench‐scale data are presented on three different oil‐bearing ...

Sound transmission through double panel systems lined with soaked insulation materials
4th AIAA/CEAS Aeroacoustics Conference, 1998The transmission loss of a double panel system enclosing a partially reticulated polyurethan foam wetted with different amounts of water according to prescribed climate treatments have been examined using a general linear modelling for sound dissipation in light isotropic homogeneous porous materials.

Bilateral endoscopic nasal surgery is usually associated with pain and sleep disturbance. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of dexmedetomidine-soaked nasal packing on analgesia and improvement of sleep quality in patients undergoing this surgery.Eighty patients were enrolled and randomly allocated into 4 groups.

Effect of double-soak sintering on magnetic properties of MgxMnyAlzFe3?(x+y+z)O4 ferrites
Journal of Materials Science, 1974A study was made to determine the effects of a double-soak sintering process on the saturation magnetization, Curie temperature and hysteresis properties of an Al-substituted MgMn-microwave ferrite. This process decreases saturation magnetization and magnetic induction, while increasing the loop squareness and the Curie temperature.
