Developing Soft Interconnected Microchannel Network for 2D Skin‐Like Actuator
A soft interconnected network of microchannels is proposed to develop new pneumatic actuators for future bio‐inspired soft robots. Simultaneous stimulation of this network generates regional asymmetric strains in walls of microchannels whose interaction across the entire surface leads to bending curvatures in multidimensions.

Doubly-Fed Induction Generators for wind power generation
2007 International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems, 2007There are many papers available on doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) and their control. However, there are gray areas where a laymen into the wind industry cannot fully understand with regard to the operation of these machines. This paper presents from first principles, the operation and control of the DFIG, and supplement the theory by results ...

Predictive Current Control of Doubly Fed Induction Generators
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2009This paper presents a predictive current control (PCC) strategy for doubly fed induction generators (DFIGs). The method predicts the DFIG's rotor current variations in the synchronous reference frame fixed to the stator flux within a fixed sampling period.
