A versatile method for simulating pp -> ppe+e- and dp -> pne+e-p_spec reactions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We have developed a versatile software package for the simulation of di-electron production in pp and dp collisions at moderate beam kinetic energies (1-2GeV). Particular attention has been paid to incorporate different descriptions of the Dalitz decay Δ

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Virtual characterization via knowledge-enhanced representation learning: from organic conjugated molecules to devices

open access: yesnpj Computational Materials
The rational design of organic functional devices relies on understanding structure-property-performance relationships through multi-scale characterization. However, traditional characterizations are costly and require multidisciplinary expertise.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

NMR-Solver: automated structure elucidation via large-scale spectral matching and physics-guided fragment optimization

open access: yesNature Communications
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is one of the most powerful and widely used tools for molecular structure elucidation in organic chemistry. However, the interpretation of NMR spectra to determine unknown molecular structures remains a labor-

Order in the DP! On word order and the structure of the DP

open access: yesLSA Annual Meeting Extended Abstracts, 2015
Novel observations show Cinque’s (2005) phrasal movement proposal makes correct predictions on the grammaticality of word orders in Lebanese Arabic noun phrases. Adding an adjective yields grammatical orders Cinque (2005) cannot derive. We show that assuming an additional merge position—either for demonstratives or for numerals—derives the orders ...

Proteasomal degradation of intracellularly expressed Amblyomin‐X limits suicide gene therapy potential in melanoma cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

Synergistic application of molecular docking and machine learning for improved binding pose

open access: yesNational Science Open
Accurate prediction of protein-ligand complex structures is a crucial step in structure-based drug design. Traditional molecular docking methods exhibit limitations in terms of accuracy and sampling space, while relying on machine-learning approaches may

Dp-ucMGP levels stratified by renal replacement therapy, as boxplots.

open access: yes, 2018
Kidney transplant recipients (n = 36): sand-color boxplot, and both patients on hemo- and peritoneal dialysis (n = 113): purple boxplot. Median values of dp-ucMGP: 689 and 1537 pmol/L respectively.
