Adaptive System for Autonomous Driving

2018 IEEE International Conference on Software Quality, Reliability and Security Companion (QRS-C), 2018
Avoiding faults in systems is of uttermost importance during system development. In case of autonomous systems this requirement becomes more important because of the fact that there is no human in the loop that can take over control after a fault. In this paper, we discuss a methodology allowing to implement a system that reacts on faults in a smart ...

Intelligent Driving Assistant System

2016
The paper presents the intelligent driving assistant system as a device to increase a car active safety without any interference with a driving process. The system - based on the softcomputing methodology working “on-line” - is able to overtake the driver’s reaction.

Systems Analysis of Driving Simulation

Human Factors: The Journal of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, 1964
System analysis procedures as applied to driving simulators must accomplish several bask tasks: (1) they must identify the system components and interactions that are to be simulated; (2) they must specify the degree of simulation of each component in the system. In this case, the extent to which the automobile and the environment are to be reproduced

Drunken driving and rash driving prevention system

2010 International Conference on Mechanical and Electrical Technology, 2010
As is needless to say; a majority of accidents, which occur, are due to drunk driving. As such, there is no effective mechanism to prevent this. Here we have designed an integrated system for the same purpose. Alcohol content in the driver's body is detected by means of an infrared breath analyzer placed at the steering wheel.

An internetworked self-driving car system-of-systems

2017 12th System of Systems Engineering Conference (SoSE), 2017
This paper presents an overview of the architecture of an internetworked self-driving car system-of-systems. The architecture considers both the car as a system-of-systems as well as multiple cars participation in a larger multi-vehicle system-of-systems. Each relevant aspect of the architecture is reviewed.

A system for the implementation of noise added system driving

IMTC/99. Proceedings of the 16th IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (Cat. No.99CH36309), 2003
Noise added systems present interesting features in many application fields. A stochastic resonance phenomenon has been introduced as an innovative approach for both understanding the behaviour and improving the performance of this class of system. The main problem in dealing with noise added systems is the identification of the optimal value of the ...
