Optimal mode movement of the robot manipulator on an elastic base according to the criterion of the mean square value of the acceleration of the drive torque

open access: yesГірничі, будівельні, дорожні та меліоративні машини, 2023
Previous studies of the optimization of the manipulator motion mode on an elastic base based on the criteria of the rms value of the drive torque and the rate of change of the rms value of the drive torque established that the use of optimal manipulator

Gravity‐Dependent Modulation of Downbeat Nystagmus: Insights From Velocity‐Storage Dysfunction

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Downbeat nystagmus varies with head position, a phenomenon termed gravity‐dependent modulation. We aimed to clarify its mechanism using a velocity‐storage model. Methods In 10 patients with downbeat nystagmus due to cerebellar disorders, we recorded eye movements at different pitch‐ and roll‐axis head positions.

A Numerical–Experimental Approach for Multi‐Matrix Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Characterization Using Finite Element Model Updating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Decoupled Speed and Torque Control of IPMSM Drives Using a Novel Load Torque Estimator

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2017
This paper proposes decoupled speed and torque control of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) drives using a novel load torque estimator (LTE). The proposed LTE is applied for computing a load torque and yielding a feed-forward value in

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.
