Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Single‐Target Pairing System (StarPair) for Large‐Scale Interrogation of Cell–Cell Interactions
Coordination of cell populations through intercellular interactions is essential to the formation and function of living organisms. However, technologies enabling systematic dissection of cell–cell communications or manipulation of cell–cell interactions

Fluid Dynamics of Interacting Rotor Wake with a Water Surface
Rotor-type cross-media vehicles always induce considerably complex mixed air–water flows when approaching the water surface, resulting in relative thrust loss and structural damage on rotor.

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Evolution in Microfluidic Droplet
High-throughput screening (HTS) of enzymatic activity is important for directed evolution-based enzyme engineering. However, substrate and product diffusion can severely compromise these HTS assays. In this issue of Chemistry & Biology, Kintses and coworkers describe a microfluidic platform for the directed evolution of enzymes in droplets that allows ...

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Aging mechanism in tunable Pickering emulsion
We study the stability of a model Pickering emulsion system. A special counter-flow microfluidics set-up was used to prepare monodisperse Pickering emulsions, with oil droplets in water.
