Design, Synthesis, and Evaluation of Naphthyl Pyrazino‐Pyrido‐Pyrimidinones Targeting the Phosphoinositide 3‐Kinase/Alpha‐Serine/Protein Kinase B/Mammalian Target of Rapamycin Pathway

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 15, Issue 2, February 2026.
Rationally designed naphthyl pyrazino‐pyrido‐pyrimidinones 3 and 4 inhibited 85%–94% of cancer cell growth. Compound 4 exhibited IC50 = 7.8–12.8 µM with tumor selectivity. Both induced G1 arrest and modulated ULK1, STAT3, alpha‐serine/protein kinase B (AKT), and autophagy via phosphoinositide 3‐kinase/mammalian target of rapamycin (PI3K/mTOR ...

Probing a Reactive Alkyne Center Aligned via a Triphenylmethane Tripod on Au(111) for Electric Field‐Induced Chemistry by STM and TERS

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 7, 2 February 2026.
Electric‐field‐induced chemistry at solid/vacuum interfaces offers precise control over chemical reactions. In this study, a triphenylmethane‐based tripod with a terminal alkyne is anchored upright on a gold surface. Advanced scanning tunneling microscopy and tip‐enhanced Raman scattering confirm the alignment and stability of the reactive center ...

Modeling and simulation of dynamic recrystallization behavior for Q890 steel plate based on plane strain compression tests

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2020
In view that the traditional dynamic recrystallization (DRX) model cannot effectively predict the DRX process in the hot deformation process of sheet metal, DRX behavior modeling and simulation of q890 steel plate based on the plane strain compression ...

Influence of Cooling Rates and Titanium Content on Hot Ductility in Niobium‐Fixed Microalloyed Steels

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 97, Issue 2, Page 719-730, February 2026.
The hot ductility of four microalloyed steels was examined under varying cooling rates and titanium contents. Hot tensile testing and microscopic analysis revealed that ferrite formation and TiNb(CN) precipitation critically influence hot ductility. Lower cooling rates enhance ductility by increasing ferrite thickness and modifying precipitate features,

Archimedean cohomology revisited [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Archimedean cohomology provides a cohomological interpretation for the calculation of the local L-factors at archimedean places as zeta regularized determinant of a log of Frobenius.

5‐Nitramino‐3‐Trifluoromethyl‐1H−1,2,4‐Triazole (JZX‐1) and its Energetic Salts: Fluorinated Energetic Materials Derived Entirely from Commodity Chemicals

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, Volume 652, Issue 1, January 6, 2026.
Replacing hydrogen with fluorine in energetic molecules improves their density, stability, and performance. However, traditional fluorination methods use hazardous and expensive reagents. A safer, more practical approach involves synthesizing materials from a pre‐fluorinated backbone.

Hot deformation behavior and dynamic recrystallization kinetic modeling of the Mg–7Gd–3Y–1Zn–0.5Zr alloy

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology
In this study, the microstructure evolution on hot deformation was investigated and a dynamic recrystallization (DRX) kinetic model was constructed based on the hot deformation behavior of the homogenized state Mg–7Gd–3Y–1Zn–0.5Zr (VW73B) alloy within ...

Performance Evaluation of LTE/LTE-A DRX: A Markovian Approach

open access: yesIEEE Internet of Things Journal, 2016
Long-term evolution (LTE)/long-term evolution advanced (LTE-A) are emerging communication technologies on the way toward 5G telecommunication systems. Ubiquitous adoption of connectivity in between different kinds of sensors, wearable devices, and other low-power equipment raises an importance of the energy-efficient wireless communications. In LTE/LTE-

Learning Crystallographic Disorder: Bridging Prediction and Experiment in Materials Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 5, 22 January 2026.
Machine learning based computational materials discovery workflows have recently proposed thousands of potentially stable crystalline materials. However, the experimental realization of these predictions is often challenging because the models assume perfectly ordered structures.
