RoundMi: A quantitative method to analyze mitochondrial morphology in mitotic cells
RoundMi is a workflow for rapid analysis of mitochondrial morphology in mitotic cells. By combining adaptive preprocessing with automated segmentation and quantification, it enables accurate measurements from single focal plane images, reducing acquisition time and computational demands while remaining compatible with high‐throughput fixed and live ...

Activation of Natural Zeolite as Water Adsorbent for Mixed-Adsorption Drying
Mixed-adsorption drying with material using zeolite is an option to improve product quality and energy efficiency of drying seeds. In this case, zeolite and seeds are mixed and fluidized by warm air as drying medium.

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Foam mat drying of mango: Effect of processing parameters on the drying kinetic and product quality
This study investigated the foam mat drying process parameters (temperature and concentration of foaming agents, albumin, and an emulsifier blend) and evaluated their effects on drying kinetics, color, carotenoid retention, and solubility of the mango ...

Moisture migration analysis of laminated veneer lumber based on low field nuclear magnetic resonance
Moisture migration is an important factor affecting the performance and durability of laminated veneer lumber (LVL), a common packaging material. In this paper, we used low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (LF-NMR) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI ...

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.
