ALOX15 mediates thrombin‐induced myristoylation, trafficking, and interaction of protease‐activated receptors, leading to platelet activation and hemostasis

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
The role of PARs in platelet function is fairly known; however, the underlying mechanisms are not fully understood. We report that thrombin myristoylates PAR4 in mouse platelets and PAR1 and PAR4 in human platelets, facilitating their membrane transport and interaction, leading to PAR3/4 heterodimers in mice and PAR1/4 heterodimers in humans.

The Resynchronization Effect in Left Bundle Branch Pacing Can be Evaluated Non‐Invasively With the Implementation of Lead V8

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
The negative derivative activation time (NDAT) of the surface electrode positioned at V8 closely corresponds to the left ventricular electrical delay to the left ventricular lead within the coronary sinus during intrinsic rhythm, and during all left bundle branch area pacing subtypes (right ventricular septal pacing (RVSP), deep septal pacing (DSP ...

Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing versus Deep Septal Pacing in Patients After Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement

open access: yesJournal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) has been reported to improve long‐term clinical outcomes in patients requiring permanent pacemaker implantation (PPMI) after transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Deep septal pacing (DSP) has emerged as a potential alternative to LBBAP.
