Incremental-data stealth-transmission method in DSSS
Wireless Networks, 2021A direct-sequence spread-spectrum (DSSS) signal has many advantages, such as low SNR and strong anti-jamming ability; thus, it is widely used in various military and civil communication systems. However, hiding and high-data-rate transmission technologies have become the key factors affecting the future applications of the existing DSSS. To solve these

Two-Dimensional Information Transmission Method in DSSS
Wireless Personal Communications, 2021In this paper, a two-dimensional information transmission method based on k step-complex spread spectrum (KS-CSS) is proposed. The aim is to solve the contradiction between the bandwidth and processing gain of a traditional direct-sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) channel, and to achieve better system performance (such as by obtaining higher processing ...

A DSSS Receiver for Dual-Mode DSSS/OFDM Wireless LAN Systems
2005 IEEE International Symposium on Microwave, Antenna, Propagation and EMC Technologies for Wireless Communications, 2006This paper introduces a DSSS baseband receiver suitable for a dual mode DSSS/OFDM wireless LAN system. Packet synchroniser with a pair of ADCs with dynamic sampling is used for detecting both DSSS and OFDM packets. For differentially encoded symbols, frequency offset and phase offset can be compensated based on their inherent characteristics.

Performance of DSSS against Repeater Jamming
2006 13th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems, 2006Direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) technique has been widely used in both military communications and commercial communications. The normal jamming types, including broadband noise, partial-band noise and so on, are ineffective at the current jamming power level when the processing gain is large enough.

A Robust Demodulator for OQPSK–DSSS System
Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing, 2014IEEE802.15.4 standard has quickly become a benchmark in the era of Internet of things. The mandatory mode of 2.4 GHz physical layer of IEEE802.15.4 standard employs offset quadrature phase shift keying (OQPSK) modulation with direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS). The performance of conventional differential demodulator is not satisfactory.

Compressed Receiver for Multipath DSSS Signals
IEEE Communications Letters, 2014A compressed sensing (CS) assisted receiver for direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) signals transmitted over multipath frequency-selective channels is studied in this paper. We present a bit-error-rate analysis for the CS-domain maximum ratio combining receiver with perfect channel state information (CSI), and hence, the CS-induced signal-to-noise ...

PAPR-based DSSS signal detection
2017 International Conference on Information and Communication Technology Convergence (ICTC), 2017A new detection algorithm for direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) signals using peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) is proposed. The received signals are divided into several blocks. Then we calculate peak-to-average power ratio of each block and we use the average of peak-to-average power ratios as test statistics.

Security Enhancement of Fix Chaotic-DSSS in WSNs
IEEE Communications Letters, 2018The security of the physical layer promises to provide secrecy for wireless communication. The chaotic direct sequence spread spectrum (chaotic-DSSS) is one of the distinguished techniques for providing secrecy in wireless communication. However, conventional chaotic-DSSS requires chip synchronization which makes this system complex to implement in ...

A Fast Time-Recursive Correlator for DSSS Communications
IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2008Direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) correlators synchronize received signals with locally generated replicas. They can be implemented either in time or frequency domains. Time-domain correlators are more flexible in multimode operations, and they are typically preferred in hardware-based implementations.
