DTA Evaluation of Spruce Wood Degradation Process
The decomposition stages of spruce wood sawdust were analyzed by means of sequential differential calorimetry. Two stages of decomposition were identified and activation energy of one stage was calculated using the Kissinger method. The DTA was conducted

Sustainable Germanium Recovery From Germanium Dioxide via Halogen‐Free Chemical Vapor Transport
Recovery of the critical element Ge from GeO2 and SiO2/GeO2 mixtures was investigated based on an endothermic chemical vapor transport via GeO, formed with natural gas or a hydrogen(10%)‑argon(90%) mixture and water vapor. (This picture was partly created with AI, engine: Adobe Firefly).

Abstract Measurable residual disease (MRD) monitoring by multiparameter flow cytometry (MFC) is well established in bone marrow (BM) samples for acute myeloid leukemia (AML), but its use in peripheral blood (PB) remains less developed. We adapted a semi‐automated and well validated MFC‐MRD assay, originally developed for BM, to PB aiming to evaluate ...

DTA is inherently biased by the sampling process.
To test for inherent sampling bias, we analysed a dataset containing just sampling locations, but no genetic information using (a) DTA, (b) MTT and (c) BASTA.

A novel brand‐new co‐firing slow solidification process has been used to prepare Cs3Cu2I5: In single crystals (SCs), which demonstrate record‐breaking X‐ray detection performance. The regular‐shaped Cs3Cu2I5: In wafer obtains a high light yield (74 368 Ph MeV−1), which is the highest related to indium‐doped Cu‐based perovskites.

Sweetspot Mapping in Deep Brain Stimulation: Strengths and Limitations of Current Approaches
Abstract Objectives Open questions remain regarding the optimal target, or sweetspot, for deep brain stimulation (DBS) in, for example, Parkinson's disease. Previous studies introduced different methods of mapping DBS effects to determine sweetspots. While having a direct impact on surgical targeting and postoperative programming in DBS, these methods ...
