Soil microbiomes conditioned by long‐term warming affect plant belowground performance

open access: yesPlant Biology, EarlyView.
Soil microbial communities conditioned by long‐term warming affect the plant performance of Anthoxantum odoratum and Agrostis capillaris by reducing belowground biomass. Abstract Global change affects plant performance, both directly through warming and indirectly through changes in their biotic and abiotic surroundings.

Current Advances in Radioactive Iodine-Refractory Differentiated Thyroid Cancer

open access: yesCurrent Oncology
Background: Differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) patients have an outstanding overall long-term survival rate, and certain subsets of DTC patients have a very high likelihood of disease recurrence.

PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT OF DIRECT TORQUE CONTROL OF INDUCTION MOTOR USING FUZZY LOGIC [PDF]

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Soft Computing, 2011
DTC is strategy of selecting proper stator voltage vectors to reduce torque error and flux error. DTC uses hysteresis band controller whose control action has no difference between large torque error and small one. This results in high torque ripple.

The Role of Gene Flow in the Diversification of the Monkey Treefrog Complex Across the South American Dry Diagonal

open access: yesZoologica Scripta, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Understanding Neotropical megadiversity remains challenging due to fundamental taxonomic issues, including identifying and describing cryptic species and their distribution, and the limited knowledge of key factors driving biological diversification. Such challenges are especially prominent in diverse clades with high levels of cryptic species,

Differentiated thyroid cancer and adverse pregnancy outcomes: a propensity score-matched retrospective cohort study

open access: yesFrontiers in Pediatrics
BackgroundDifferentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) has been increasingly common in women of reproductive age. However, the evidence remains mixed regarding the association of DTC with adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women previously diagnosed with DTC ...

Predictive Model for Epoxy‐Amine Polymerizations at Decreased Tc Using Variable Frequency Microwaves

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, Volume 143, Issue 11, March 15, 2026.
Two‐way interaction of basicity and entropy. ABSTRACT This study presents a predictive model for the thermo‐mechanical properties of epoxy polymers cured with Variable Frequency Microwave (VFM) processing. The model is based on properties derived from the structural features of the epoxide and amine precursors.

Targeting Tumor Dormancy and Recurrence: Molecular Mechanisms and Peptide Therapeutic Delivery

open access: yesMedComm – Oncology, Volume 5, Issue 1, March 2026.
This review summarizes the molecular mechanisms that regulate tumor dormancy and its role in cancer recurrence, with emphasis on immune evasion, extracellular matrix remodeling, metabolic regulation and angiogenic switching. It further discusses emerging peptide–based therapeutic strategies aimed at detecting, modulating, and eliminating dormant tumor ...

Evaluation of Laboratory‐Scale Composting Reactors to Simulate Compost Barn Bedding Dynamics

open access: yesEnvironmental Quality Management, Volume 35, Issue 3, Spring 2026.
ABSTRACT Efficient management of compost bedding is essential for sustainability and animal welfare in Compost Barns (CBs). This study evaluated laboratory‐scale bioreactors as tools to simulate CB composting dynamics, focusing on temperature control, aeration, and wood shaving supplementation. Three sequential experiments were conducted. Test 1 used a
