2015 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2015
This paper presents a dual beam Yagi patch antenna. The antenna operates in the ISM band of 2.41 and 2.45 GHz. It consists of rectangular patch fed at two different probe positions. The patch has two reflectors each provides directional pattern in two perpendicular directions. The isolation is better than 20 dB and directivity is more than 3 dBi.

Dual-beam filtering patch antennas
2018 International Workshop on Antenna Technology (iWAT), 2018This paper describes a design methodology for five dual-beam filtering patch antennas and their applications to ultra-wideband (UWB) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system. Structures of the five dual-beam filtering patch antennas are the same, but their sizes are different for covering different operation band.

Dual-beam laser deflection sensor
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1985A compact, dual-beam laser deflection system was built, mainly from commercially available parts. While the detector and electronics yielded noise levels at the theoretical level for the detector, pointing instability of the laser led to an increase in noise by a factor of about 103.

Inexpensive Dual Beam Turbidimeter
SEPM Journal of Sedimentary Research, 1973ABSTRACT This dual beam turbidimeter can be made for under $1000. The light source is a 2 milliwatt helium neon laser. Use of a laser eliminates the need for collimating optics. The light detector is a photomultiplier tube, thus permitting the measurement of low particle concentrations. The reproducibility of the transmittance is 1%.

Cygnus Dual Beam Radiography Source
2005 IEEE Pulsed Power Conference, 2005The subcritical experiment (SCE) program was initiated after the 1992 moratorium on underground nuclear testing in support of stockpile stewardship. The dynamic material properties of plutonium are a major topic of exploration for the SCE program.

Microelectronics Reliability, 2013
Abstract After its golden age during the decades of the development of Silicon IC technology, nowadays Electron Beam Induced Current (EBIC) technique comes back to importance mostly on photonic and high speed electron devices based on compound semiconductors. A new approach for recording a fast EBIC embedded in a Dual Beam system is presented.

Facility for simultaneous dual-beam ion implantation
Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A: Accelerators, Spectrometers, Detectors and Associated Equipment, 2005Abstract The dual implantation chamber (DIC) at Rossendorf Center for Application of Ion Beams in Materials Research allows materials to be implanted using two ion beams simultaneously. This facility is located at the 45 o cross point of two beam lines, one from a single-ended HVEE 500 kV ion implanter and the other from a HVEE 3 MV Tandetron ...

Viscously coupled dual beam accelerometer
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1993A viscously coupled dual beam accelerometer. An accelerometer (60) includes a first proof mass (32') and a second proof mass (42'), which are respectively connected by flexures (36' and 46') to a first base (34') and a second base (44'). The first and second bases are clamped between a top enclosure (62) and a bottom enclosure (64), between which is ...

Dual beam modulated magneto-optical measurement setup
Review of Scientific Instruments, 2019A dual beam magneto-optical setup employing a dual axis photoelastic modulator (PEM) and an intensity-stabilized laser was designed and constructed. The beam transmitted through or reflected of the sample is split by a Wollaston prism into two orthogonal high-quality linearly polarized beams.

Spatial phase-shift dual-beam speckle interferometry
Applied Optics, 2018The spatial phase-shift technique has been successfully applied to an out-of-plane speckle interferometry system. Its application to a pure in-plane sensitive system has not been reported yet. This paper presents a novel optical configuration that enables the application of the spatial phase-shift technique to pure in-plane sensitive dual-beam speckle ...
