Abstract After its golden age during the decades of the development of Silicon IC technology, nowadays Electron Beam Induced Current (EBIC) technique comes back to importance mostly on photonic and high speed electron devices based on compound semiconductors. A new approach for recording a fast EBIC embedded in a Dual Beam system is presented.

Dual-beam difference spectroelectrochemistry
Analytical Biochemistry, 1982Abstract An optically transparent thin-layer electrode with carbon fibers as the working electrode is described for use in dual-beam difference spectroscopy. This cell simplifies obtaining the spectrum of a species of interest in the presence of mediators, cofactors, etc. The spectroelectrochemistry of cytochrome c with a large excess of spectrally

A dual-beam spectropluviometer concept
Journal of Hydrology, 2006Summary A dual beam spectropluviometer (DBS) measuring the equivalent diameter D, the fall velocity V and the time T of arrival of particles is presented. Its main advantage over previous optical disdrometers is the whole measurement range of atmospheric precipitating particles near the ground.

Simple dual-beam protein meters
Analytical Biochemistry, 1975Abstract Stable low-noise dual-beam spectrophotometric detection systems have been built to measure protein in the effluent from chromatographic columns. Measurements are carried out at the magnesium 285.2 nm atomic resonance line isolated either by the technique of selective modulation or by the use of a narrow bandpass interference filter.

A dual-beam along-track interferometric synthetic aperture radar that is entirely self-contained within an aircraft pod has been developed by the University of Massachusetts to study sea surface processes in coastal regions. The radar operates at 5.3 GHz with a bandwidth of up to 25 MHz. System hardware is described.

Inexpensive dual beam turbidimeter
Journal of Sedimentary Research, 1973Abstract This dual beam turbidimeter can be made for under $1000. The light source is a 2 milliwatt helium neon laser. Use of a laser eliminates the need for collimating optics. The light detector is a photomultiplier tube, thus permitting the measurement of low particle concentrations.
