Design of a wideband bandpass filter with dual-mode resonators
2016 IEEE International Conference on Ubiquitous Wireless Broadband (ICUWB), 2016In this paper, a wideband bandpass filter (BPF) with dual-mode resonators (DMRs) is proposed and designed by a novel approach. The DMR is equivalent to separate a λ stepped-impedance resonator (SIR) and λ/2 uniform impedance resonator (UIR). The design procedure is step-by-step so as to analysis the circuit structure clearly.

Dual-mode mechanical resonance of individual ZnO nanobelts
Applied Physics Letters, 2003The mechanical resonance of a single ZnO nanobelt, induced by an alternative electric field, was studied by in situ transmission electron microscopy. Due to the rectangular cross section of the nanobelt, two fundamental resonance modes have been observed corresponding to two orthogonal transverse vibration directions, showing the versatile applications

Temperature-insensitive dual-mode resonant sensors - a review
IEEE Sensors Journal, 2001Dual mode excitation of resonators allows the highly accurate measurement of, and compensation for, the effects of temperature, pressure, etc., by means of frequency measurements alone. Frequency can be measured with far higher accuracy than any other quantity.
