Effects of integration on intermediate level students in dual track schools.
This study examines the effects of integration on intermediate level students in dual track schools. The research hypotheses were that integrated French immersion and regular program students would have more positive attitudes towards learning French and towards other program students than did segregated students in dual track schools.

Theoretical Evaluation of Several Possible Along-Track InSAR Modes of TerraSAR-X for Ocean Current Measurements [PDF]
The German satellite TerraSAR-X, scheduled for launch in early 2007, will permit high-resolution ocean current measurements by along-track interferometric SAR (along-track InSAR) in various experimental modes of operation, using different subsections of ...

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Peripheral lysosomes recruit PLEKHG3 to focal adhesions and restrain protrusion dynamics
Proximity‐dependent labeling at the LAMTOR complex revealed the Rho GEF PLEKHG3 as a lysosome‐proximal protein directing the study toward the influence of lysosome positioning on actin dynamics and cell motility. We show that PLEKHG3 colocalizes with lysosomes at focal adhesion sites and observe that forced peripheral dispersion of lysosomes hinders ...

Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).

Pharmacological chromatin remodeling enhances response to estrogen therapy in ER+ breast cancer
Estrogen therapy elicits clinical benefit in ~ 30% of patients with endocrine‐resistant estrogen receptor (ER)‐positive breast cancer. Based on findings that ER transcriptional activation underlies response to estrogen therapy, we tested the effects of epigenetic dysregulation via pharmacological inhibition of histone deacetylases (HDACi).
