Continuous $ k $-Frames and their Dual in Hilbert Spaces [PDF]
The notion of $k$-frames was recently introduced by G\u avru\c ta in Hilbert spaces to study atomic systems with respect to a bounded linear operator. A continuous frame is a family of vectors in a Hilbert space which allows reproductions of arbitrary ...

Optimal dual frames and frame completions for majorization
In this paper we consider two problems in frame theory. On the one hand, given a set of vectors $\mathcal F$ we describe the spectral and geometrical structure of optimal completions of $\mathcal F$ by a finite family of vectors with prescribed norms, where optimality is measured with respect to majorization.

Dual Linearised Gravity in Arbitrary Dimensions
We construct dual formulation of linearised gravity in first order tetrad formalism in arbitrary dimensions within the path integral framework following the standard duality algorithm making use of the global shift symmetry of the tetrad field.

Dual earthquake resistant frames [PDF]
Structural control through energy dissipation systems has been increasingly implemented internationally in recent years and has proven to be a most promising strategy for the earthquake safety of structures. In extending the “classical” approach of the capacity design for earthquake structural resistance, the integration of passive damping devices ...

Optimal Dual Frames for Probabilistic Erasures
Assume that a frame is given for encoding in a communication system. J. Leng et al. investigated its dual frames for signal decoding which minimize the maximal error when the probabilistic erasures occur in the transmission process.

The concept of frames in a Banach space has been introduced by Grochenig and developed by several authors. The main feature of a frame is to present every element of the underlying Banach space as a norm-convergent series. In this decomposition, the dual frame plays an essential role. The existence of a dual p-frame is not guaranteed in general.

Performance-Based Plastic Design of Moment Frame-Steel Plate Shear Wall as a Dual System [PDF]
Steel Plate Shear Wall (SPSW) is an emerging seismic load-resistant system that, compared to other systems, enjoys the advantages of stable ductile behavior, fewer detailing requirements, rapid constructability, and economy.

Real‐time assay of ribonucleotide reductase activity with a fluorescent RNA aptamer
Ribonucleotide reductases (RNR) synthesize DNA building blocks de novo, making them crucial in DNA replication and drug targeting. FLARE introduces the first single‐tube real‐time coupled RNR assay, which enables isothermal tracking of RNR activity at nanomolar enzyme levels and allows the reconstruction of allosteric regulatory patterns and rapid ...

Dual Motion GAN for Future-Flow Embedded Video Prediction
Future frame prediction in videos is a promising avenue for unsupervised video representation learning. Video frames are naturally generated by the inherent pixel flows from preceding frames based on the appearance and motion dynamics in the video ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.
