Vanishing Properties of Dual Bass Numbers [PDF]
Let R be a Noetherian ring, M an Artinian R-module, and š ā Cos RM. Then cograde Rš Hom R (Rš,M) = inf {i | Ļi(š,M) > 0} and [Formula: see text] where Ļi(š,M) is the i-th dual Bass number of M with respect to š, cograde Rš Hom R (Rš,M) is the common length of any maximal Hom R (Rš, M)-quasi co-regular sequence contained in š Rš, and fd Rš Hom R (Rš,

Generalization of dual numbers and dual Euclidean 3-Space
Summary: In this study, we consider the generalized dual numbers and determine their algebraic and geometric properties. Then we generalize the well-known \(\mathbb{D}^3\) module and introduce the generalized dual Euclidean 3-space with its scalar product and norm.

Does Grammatical Structure Accelerate Number Word Learning? Evidence from Learners of Dual and Non-Dual Dialects of Slovenian. [PDF]
How does linguistic structure affect children's acquisition of early number word meanings? Previous studies have tested this question by comparing how children learning languages with different grammatical representations of number learn the meanings of ...

New Seiberg Dualities from N=2 Dualities
We propose a number of new Seiberg dualities of N=1 quiver gauge theories. The new Seiberg dualities originate in new S-dualities of N=2 superconformal field theories recently proposed by Gaiotto.

Uniform random colored complexes
We present here random distributions on $(D+1)$-edge-colored, bipartite graphs with a fixed number of vertices $2p$. These graphs are dual to $D$-dimensional orientable colored complexes.

Kinematic Applications of Hyper-Dual Numbers
Hyper-dual numbers are a new number system that is an extension of dual numbers. A hyper-dual number can be written uniquely as an ordered pair of dual numbers. In this paper, some basic algebraic properties of hyper-dual numbers are given using their ordered pair representaions of dual numbers.
