Technological Empowerment and Meaning Co-Construction: The Reinforced Persuasion Mechanism of Multimodal Synergy in Smart Product Launch Events

open access: yesJournal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research
Product launch events serve as a crucial means of marketing and communication for technology brands. With the empowerment of multimodal technologies, the construction of meaning and the pathways of persuasion in these events have been reshaped.

Probes of holographic thermalization in a simple model with momentum relaxation

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2020
From the viewpoint of AdS/CFT correspondence, we investigate the holographic thermalization process in a four dimensional Einstein-Maxwell-axions gravity theory, which is considered as a simple bulk theory dual to a boundary theory with momentum ...

Self‐disorder explained: Yasunaga's “Phantom Space Theory” on schizophrenia

open access: yesPCN Reports, 2023
The present article revisits the theoretical model of schizophrenia by Hiroshi YASUNAGA (1929–2011). Yasunaga restated ego disturbance in schizophrenia as the “Pattern Reversal” between selfhood and otherness, based on British philosopher Wauchope's ...

String splitting and strong coupling meson decay

open access: yes, 2005
We study the decay of high spin mesons using the gauge/string theory correspondence. The rate of the process is calculated by studying the splitting of a macroscopic string intersecting a D-brane.

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Research on dual process theory based telecom augmented cognition

open access: yesDianxin kexue
Incorporating the current works in augmented large language models (LLM), a dual process theory based telecom augmented cognition architecture (TACA) was proposed. This architecture addressed challenges faced by LLM in the field of telecom, such as lack ...

Subliminal influence on preferences? A test of evaluative conditioning for brief visual conditioned stimuli using auditory unconditioned stimuli [PDF]

open access: yesRoyal Society Open Science, 2017
In the field of evaluative conditioning (EC), two opposing theories—propositional single-process theory versus dual-process theory—are currently being discussed in the literature.

Dynamic robust duality in utility maximization

open access: yes, 2015
A celebrated financial application of convex duality theory gives an explicit relation between the following two quantities: (i) The optimal terminal wealth $X^*(T) : = X_{\varphi^*}(T)$ of the problem to maximize the expected $U$-utility of the ...

Non-conscious processes and dual-process theories in health psychology [PDF]

open access: yesHealth Psychology Review, 2016
The rise of dual-process or dual-systems theories of behaviour in health psychology reflects a shift in attention from the predominant social cognitive approach in recognition of the pervasive effe...
