Closedness type regularity conditions in convex optimization and beyond
The closedness type regularity conditions have proven during the last decade to be viable alternatives to their more restrictive interiority type counterparts, in both convex optimization and different areas where it was successfully applied.

Robust Nonsmooth Interval-Valued Optimization Problems Involving Uncertainty Constraints
In this paper, Karush-Kuhn-Tucker type robust necessary optimality conditions for a robust nonsmooth interval-valued optimization problem (UCIVOP) are formulated using the concept of LU-optimal solution and the generalized robust Slater constraint ...

Grothendieck duality made simple
It has long been accepted that the foundations of Grothendieck duality are complicated. This has changed recently. By "Grothendieck duality" we mean what, in the old literature, used to go by the name "coherent duality".

This work is intended as a pedagogical introduction to M-theory and to its maximally supersymmetric toroidal compactifications, in the frameworks of 11D supergravity, type II string theory and M(atrix) theory.

Duality Invariant Non-Extreme Black Holes in Toroidally Compactified String Theory [PDF]
We present duality invariant structure of the thermodynamic quantities of non-extreme black hole solutions of torodially compactified Type II (M-theory) and heterotic string in five and four dimensions.

The Duality of Construction [PDF]
We explore the duality of construction and deconstruction in the presence of different evaluation strategies. We characterize an evaluation strategy by the notion of substitutability, given by defining what is a value and a co-value, and we present an equational theory that takes the strategy as a parameter.

Evaluating Larger Lookup Tables using CKKS
The Cheon–Kim–Kim–Song (CKKS) scheme is a fully homomorphic encryption scheme that traditionally supports only the evaluation of smooth functions. Recent works have enabled the evaluation of arbitrary (discontinuous) integer functions represented as ...

Tangle-tree duality: in graphs, matroids and beyond
We apply a recent duality theorem for tangles in abstract separation systems to derive tangle-type duality theorems for width-parameters in graphs and matroids. We further derive a duality theorem for the existence of clusters in large data sets.
