Neutrinos and local duality

open access: yes, 2005
We report the calculation of the proton and neutron unpolarized structure functions using local duality for both neutrino and muon scattering, in the large x region.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

About Interpretation within the Interplay of Singularity and Duality in Psalm 62:12 [PDF]

open access: yesActa Universitatis Sapientiae: Philologica
Psalm 62:12, a poetic expression in the Hebrew Bible, serves as an eloquent locus for deepening into the interplay of major concepts dealt with in Judaism such as singularity and duality. Through a lens that integrates traditional exegesis (especially

Numerical Solution of Bending of the Beam with Given Friction

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
We are interested in a contact problem for a thin fixed beam with an internal point obstacle with possible rotation and shift depending on a given swivel and sliding friction.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Duality Categories

open access: yesApplied Categorical Structures, 2015
We define the notion of duality categories as generalization of duality groups. Two examples are treated. The first is the Serre duality in the categories of strict polynomial functors. The second concerns finite complexes. We show in particular that finite Tits buildings are duality categories.

Aragon derrière l’emblème politique : où en est-on ?

open access: yesItinéraires, 2011
Aragon’s writings have long been wrongly perceived through a single-minded ideological angle. While the complexity of Aragon’s two facets—that of the political activist and that of the writer—is now acknowledged, contemporary critics often over ...

Character Strengths as Manifestations of Spiritual Life: Realizing the Non-Dual From the Dual

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2020
There is a noticeable increase in interest in the study of spirituality within the context of positive psychology. A review of the literature shows several parallels between dimensions of spirituality as explored within psychology of religion and ...

On a Dual Pair of Multiobjective Interval-Valued Variational Control Problems

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
In this paper, by using the new concept of (ϱ,ψ,ω)-quasiinvexity associated with interval-valued path-independent curvilinear integral functionals, we establish some duality results for a new class of multiobjective variational control problems with ...

LINKAGE AND DUALITY OF MODULES

open access: yes, 2009
Martsinkovsky and Strooker [13] recently introduced module theoretic linkage using syzygy and transpose. This generalization brings possibility of much application of linkage, especially, to homological theory of modules. In the present paper, we connect
