Extended Stone Duality via Monoidal Adjunctions [PDF]
Extensions of Stone-type dualities have a long history in algebraic logic and have also been instrumental in proving results in algebraic language theory. We show how to extend abstract categorical dualities via monoidal adjunctions, subsuming various incarnations of classical extended Stone and Priestley duality as special cases, and providing the ...

The effect of multi‐leaf collimator leaf width on VMAT treatment plan quality
Abstract Background The advent of volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) in radiotherapy has made it one of the most commonly used techniques in clinical practice. VMAT is the delivery of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) while the gantry is in motion, and existing literature has shown it has decreased treatment delivery times and the ...

Duality of Orthogonal and Symplectic Random Tensor Models [PDF]
The groups $O(N)$ and $Sp(N)$ are related by an analytic continuation to negative values of $N$, $O(-N)\simeq Sp(N)$. This duality has been studied for vector models, $SO(N)$ and $Sp(N)$ gauge theories, as well as some random matrix ensembles. We extend this duality to real random tensor models of arbitrary order $D$ with no symmetry under permutation ...

On the Classification of Duality Webs for Graded Quivers [PDF]
We study the $m$-graded quiver theories associated to CY $(m+2)$-folds and their order $(m+1)$ dualities. We investigate how monodromies give rise to mutation invariants, which in turn can be formulated as Diophantine equations characterizing the space of dual theories associated to a given geometry.

Abstract Background This study aims to develop a novel predictive model for determining human papillomavirus (HPV) presence in oropharyngeal cancer using computed tomography (CT). Current image‐based HPV prediction methods are hindered by high computational demands or suboptimal performance.

Abstract Background Dual‐energy cone‐beam CT (DE‐CBCT) has become subject of recent interest due to the ability to produce virtual monoenergetic images (VMIs) with improved soft‐tissue contrast and reduced nonuniformity artifacts. However, efficient production and optimization of VMIs remains an under‐explored part of DE‐CBCT's application.

Strict $\infty $-categories. Concrete Duality [PDF]
An elementary theory of strict $\infty $-categories with application to concrete duality is given. New examples of first and second order concrete duality are presented.

On powercounting in perturbative quantum gravity theories through color-kinematic duality [PDF]
The standard argument why gravity is not renormalisable relies on direct powercounting of Feynman graphs to estimate the degree of UV divergence. This analysis has in several (highly) supersymmetric examples be shown to overestimate divergences considerably.

Dual‐Phase C‐11 PiB PET Images for Detecting Tau Pathology in Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy
ABSTRACT Background Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) is a major cause of lobar intracerebral hemorrhage and cognitive dysfunction in the elderly, and frequently coexists with Alzheimer's disease and tau pathology. Dual‐phase 11C‐PiB PET detects amyloid deposition and cerebral perfusion changes and may have diagnostic value for identifying tau in CAA ...

Maps admitting trialities but not dualities [PDF]
We use group theory to construct infinite families of maps on surfaces which are invariant under Wilson's map operations of order 3 but not under the operations of order 2, such as duality and Petrie duality.
