Dufour effect in superionic copper selenide
Physics of the Solid State, 1998The Dufour effect has been observed in the superionic conductor copper selenide, Cu2−xSe. This effect is the opposite of the Soret thermal diffusion effect which was previously only observed in gaseous and liquid systems.

Onset of convection in binary gas mixtures: Role of the Dufour effect
Physical Review A, 1992The stability behavior of the conductive state of binary gas mixtures in the Rayleigh-B\'enard setup is significantly altered in comparison to binary liquid mixtures due to their different thermodynamic and transport properties. In particular, the Dufour effect influences dramatically the topology and the existence ranges of the oscillatory and ...

The influence of the soret and dufour effects on the diffusion of heat and moisture in solids
International Journal of Engineering Science, 1980Abstract Phenomenological arguments leading to coupled equations governing simultaneous diffusion of moisture and heat in a solid are presented. The coefficients are related to basic thermodynamic properties of the solid, including the heat of transport associated with the Dufour effect. By Onsager's reciprocal relations, the reciprocal Soret effect,
