The influences of a layer of a Phase Change Material (PCM) and the Dufour effect on thermal performance of a Salt Gradient Solar Pond (SGSP) are investigated numerically. The enthalpy model is used to model the heat transfer in the PCM layer.

Dufour Effect in Liquid Mixtures
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1969The Dufour effect in the liquid state has been investigated for 10 systems. Dufour coefficients have been estimated from the experimental data. The values of Dufour coefficients have been compared with those for thermal-diffusion coefficients estimated from the known data on the soret coefficient using measured values of diffusion coefficients recorded

SORET AND DUFOUR EFFECTS ON THE PERISTALTIC TRANSPORT OF A THIRD-ORDER FLUID
The Soret and Dufour effects on the peristaltic transport of a third-order fluid in a symmetric channel are described. The Joule heating effect is also taken into account. The governing nonlinear problem is solved using a perturbation approach. Graphical

Conclusions in Engineering
The present research explores the theoretical analysis of power-law nanofluid across extended sheet with thermal-concentration slip and Soret/Dufour effects. Physical problem is converted into non-linear differential equations via similar transformations.

Pressure Dependence of the Diffusion Thermoeffect in Gases (Dufour Effect)
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1967A modified Loschmidt apparatus for the measurement of the diffusion thermoeffect as a function of pressure is described. Measurements are reported for H2–Ar, H2–CO2, and H2–CH4 for pressures between 1 and 20 atm at room temperature. The experimental results have been explained semiquantitatively in terms of the pressure dependence of the relevant ...
