Sucrose biosynthesis in Dunaliella
Planta, 1978The halotolerant phytoplankton alga Dunaliella tertiolecta was found to be able to synthesize considerable amounts of sucrose. Because this is in contradiction to the current literature, the physiologic conditions required for sucrose biosynthesis were investigated.

Investigation of Photomovement in Dunaliella
2010To study photomovement in Dunaliella, a special experimental videomicrography system was developed. It allows the observation and measurement of the velocity and direction of movement of individual cells as modulated by light stimulus parameters. Localization of glycollate dehydrogenase in Dunaliella salina
Planta, 1987Glycollate dehydrogenase of the halotolerant green alga Dunaliella salina, isolated from a brine pond, was found associated with the membrane fraction which exhibited complete photosynthetic activity. Highest enzyme activity was found in cells grown in the presence of 5% NaCl.
