Lipid composition of halotolerant algae, Dunaliella parva lerche and Dunaliella tertiolecta
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Lipids and Lipid Metabolism, 1982Abstract The lipids of two halotolerant algae, Dunaliella parva Lerche and Dunaliella tertiolecta , contained predominantly the glycolipids monogalactosyldiacylglycerol (21.4 and 22.2 mol% for D. parva and D. tertiolecta , respectively), digalactosyldiacylglycerol (11.4 and 20.5 mol%), sulfoquinovosyldiacylglycerol (6.5 and 9.5 mol%) and two ...

ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการเติบโตและการผลิตลูทีนในจุลสาหร่าย Dunaliella tertiolecta

Localization of glycollate dehydrogenase in Dunaliella salina
Planta, 1987Glycollate dehydrogenase of the halotolerant green alga Dunaliella salina, isolated from a brine pond, was found associated with the membrane fraction which exhibited complete photosynthetic activity. Highest enzyme activity was found in cells grown in the presence of 5% NaCl.

Comparison of flocculation methods for harvesting Dunaliella
Bioresource Technology, 2015Low cell concentrations of Dunaliella salina in production scale cultivations require high energy input for biomass harvesting. Flocculation is a potential preconcentration method to lower the dewatering costs for the β-carotene production. In the present study, optimal flocculant dosages were determined for several metal salts, NaOH, Ca(OH)2 and Al ...

Sucrose biosynthesis in Dunaliella
Planta, 1978The halotolerant phytoplankton alga Dunaliella tertiolecta was found to be able to synthesize considerable amounts of sucrose. Because this is in contradiction to the current literature, the physiologic conditions required for sucrose biosynthesis were investigated.

Investigation of Photomovement in Dunaliella
2010To study photomovement in Dunaliella, a special experimental videomicrography system was developed. It allows the observation and measurement of the velocity and direction of movement of individual cells as modulated by light stimulus parameters. The system utilizes a microscope connected to a light source, monochromator and videosystem (Fig. 4.1).

The biflagellate unicellular alga Dunaliella thrives in media with extreme concentrations of salt in desert lands exposed to high solar radiation. Dunaliella produces and accumulates large amounts of intracellular glycerol to counter high extracellular osmotic concentration in the surrounding medium, and a high content of a mixture of β-carotene ...
