Correlation Between the Thermodynamic Stability of DNA Duplexes and the Interaction and Solvation Energies of DNA Building Blocks

Collection of Czechoslovak Chemical Communications, 2008
The unwinding Gibbs energy (or duplex dissociation energy) is an important measure of the thermodynamic stability of DNA oligomers. This value can be measured experimentally or predicted by empirical models parametrised on experimental data. Our previously developed model based on accurate DFT-D calculations of interaction energies between nucleic acid

A small size AWS duplexer by the space mapping techniques for in-building DAS applications

2014 IEEE Benjamin Franklin Symposium on Microwave and Antenna Sub-systems for Radar, Telecommunications, and Biomedical Applications (BenMAS), 2014
A novel, small size AWS miscrostrip duplexer is presented. The design procedure implementing the space mapping techniques is described. The approach is very efficient. Design specifications were met with only two iterations. Measurement results of a prototype show excellent agreement with simulation results.
