Duplicated proctodeum

A 3-month-old female infant was noted to have two near mirror image anal openings: an anterior, normally sited, anus and a posterior duplicated proctodeum. Ultrasound and X-rays were normal. Contrast X-ray showed 2-cm long non-communicating proctodeal duplication.

Scapular duplication

Scapular duplication is an exceedingly rare congenital anomaly. We present a unique case of left-sided duplication without additional malformations other than those involving the left upper extremity. Treatment of similar cases has been successful, and further work-up for additional anomalies should be undertaken.

Cloacal duplication

Cloacal duplication including the rectum, anus, and genitourinary organs is one of supernumerary development. Only two cases have been reported in the literature. A case with cloacal duplication is presented. The patient was an 8-year-old girl who has had fecal incontinence since birth.

Gastroduodenal duplication
