RIG‐I‐Inducing Small Molecules Potently Inhibit HMA‐Resistant AML Through Igniting the Overloaded dsRNA Arsenal

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 36, September 25, 2025.
This study reveals a novel mechanism of resistance to DNA hypomethylating agents (HMAs) in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and identifies all‐trans retinoic acid (ATRA) and tamibarotene (TAM) as potent agents that overcome HMA resistance by reactivating the interferon anticancer immune response. The findings offer promising therapeutic strategies for HMA‐

Integrative Genomic and Transcriptomic Analysis Reveals Targetable Vulnerabilities in Angioimmunoblastic T‐Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, Volume 100, Issue 9, Page 1486-1501, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Nodal follicular helper T‐cell (T FH) lymphoma of the angioimmunoblastic (AITL) subtype has a dismal prognosis. Using whole‐exome sequencing (n = 124), transcriptomic (n = 78), and methylation (n = 40) analysis, we identified recurrent mutations in known epigenetic drivers (TET2, DNMT3A, IDH2 R172 ) and novel ones (TET3, KMT2D).

The regulation and function of CD20: an “enigma” of B-cell biology and targeted therapy

open access: yesHaematologica, 2020
The introduction of anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies such as rituximab, ofatumumab, or obinutuzumab improved the therapy of B-cell malignancies even though the precise physiological role and regulation of CD20 remains unclear. Furthermore, CD20 expression

Metabolic reprogramming of T cells to optimize adoptive T cell therapy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The clinical efficacy of adoptive T cell therapies including CAR T therapy are limited by poor in vivo persistence and moderate anti-tumor efficacy. According to the literature, metabolism plays a critical role in the phenotypic state and fate of T cells

Peripheral T‐cell lymphoma with central nervous system involvement and elevated interleukin‐10 levels in the cerebrospinal fluid: A case report

open access: yesPrecision Radiation Oncology, Volume 9, Issue 3, Page 223-227, September 2025.
Abstract Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in peripheral T‐cell lymphoma (PTCL) is rare and is associated with poor prognosis. This report presents two pathologically confirmed PTCL cases. Although cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow cytometry did not detect tumor cells, CSF analysis revealed significantly elevated interleukin (IL)‐10 levels and an ...

Multi‐Target Drug Design in Alzheimer's Disease Treatment: Emerging Technologies, Advantages, Challenges, and Limitations

open access: yesPharmacology Research &Perspectives, Volume 13, Issue 4, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a complex and multifactorial neurodegenerative disorder, recognized as the most prevalent form of dementia. It is characterized by multiple pathological processes, including amyloid‐beta accumulation, neurofibrillary tangles, and neuroinflammation. The therapeutic efficacy of traditional single‐target drugs has been

Design, synthesis, molecular modelling and biological evaluation of novel 6-amino-5-cyano-2-thiopyrimidine derivatives as potent anticancer agents against leukemia and apoptotic inducers

open access: yesJournal of Enzyme Inhibition and Medicinal Chemistry
Herein, a novel series of 6-amino-5-cyano-2-thiopyrimidines and condensed pyrimidines analogues were prepared. All the synthesized compounds (1a-c, 2a-c, 3a-c, 4a-r and 5a-c) were evaluated for in vitro anticancer activity by the National Cancer ...
