The bit interleaved coded modulation module for DVB-NGH: enhanced features for mobile reception [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
International audienceThis paper describes the main features of the DVB-NGH Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation (BICM) module. This latter is derived from a sub-set of DVB-T2 BICM components with additional features intended to first lower receiver ...

Insights Into Processing Properties of Germinated Brown Rice: Based on Physicochemical, Non‐Volatile, and Volatile Metabolomics

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 6, Issue 5, Page 2470-2484, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Germinated brown rice is increasingly recognized for its physiological benefits. However, the effects of germination on its processing properties, as well as on the composition of its volatile and non‐volatile metabolites, have not been systematically elucidated.

Rotated constellation demapper for DVB-T2

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2011
The constellation rotation and cyclic Q-delay technique has been adopted in the second generation terrestrial digital video broadcasting (DVB-T2) standard. It improves the performance under fading channels, but introduces serious complexity problems in the hardware implementation of the demapper.

Novel plant cell suspension platforms for saffron apocarotenoid production and its impact on carotenoid and volatile profiles

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 23, Issue 9, Page 3903-3918, September 2025.
Summary Saffron apocarotenoids, including crocins, picrocrocin and safranal, are valuable metabolites with pharmaceutical and cosmetic potential. However, their natural plant sources are difficult to cultivate, which limits large‐scale production. The identification of carotenoid cleavage dioxygenases (CCDs), which catalyse the first and most critical ...

Dispensing with Channel Estimation…

open access: yes, 2010
In this article, we investigate the feasibility of noncoherent detection schemes in wireless communication systems as a low-complexity alternative to the family of coherent schemes. The noncoherent schemes require no channel knowledge at the receiver for

Direct Evidence of the Presence of Hybrid Charge Transfer State in a Perovskite Nanocrystal‐Polythiophene Blend Solid State Film

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 12, Issue 11, June 9, 2025.
The photophysical properties of a hybrid solid state film, composed of a conjugated polymer and CsPbBr3 (zwitterionic sulfobetaine ‐capped) perovskite nanocrystals (NCs), are investigated by ultrafast spectroscopy and morphological characterization. The transient spectroscopy highlights the presence at the interface of a charge transfer state, and the ...

Coarse time synchronisation for DVB-T2

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2010
A new coarse time synchronisation algorithm for second generation terrestrial digital video broadcasting (DVB-T2) receivers is presented. The proposed method provides not only an accurate coarse timing estimate but also a fast detection of DVB-T2 signals with slightly better robustness than the scheme presented in the DVB-T2 implementation guidelines.
