Helping financially under‐resourced unmarried mothers move forward and flourish: Feasibility findings from an innovative coaching‐centered place‐based initiative

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract Longer‐duration, holistic, cohort‐based, coach‐led interventions may be particularly effective in promoting both economic health and emotional well‐being among unmarried mothers living in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods. Aligning with the 1999 Centers for Disease Control (CDC) framework for program evaluation, this study presents a ...

An examination of ambiguity aversion: Are two heads better than one?

open access: yesJudgment and Decision Making, 2007
Ambiguity aversion has been widely observed in individuals’ judgments. Using scenarios that are typical in decision analysis, we investigate ambiguity aversion for pairs of individuals.

Photoinduced Energy Transfer Processes within Dyads of Metallophthalocyanines Compactly Fused to a Ruthenium(II) Polypyridine Chromophore

open access: yes, 2007
An unsymmetric, peripherally octasubstituted phthalocyanine (Pc) 1, which contains a combination of dipyrido[3,2-f:2‘,3‘-h] quinoxaline and 3,5-di-tert-butylphenoxy substituents, has been obtained via a statistical condensation reaction of two ...

Auf dem Weg zu chromoselektiven Transformationen in biologischen Systemen: Perspektiven und Herausforderungen

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Novel self-assembled supramolecular dyads on graphene

open access: yes, 2022
National audienceUsing supramolecular chemistry to functionalise graphene for photonic applications is a challenging issue due to graphene’s capacity to quench any emission from molecules adsorbed on its surface.

Toward Chromoselective Transformations in Biological Systems: Perspectives and Challenges

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Controlling biological systems with small‐molecule chromophores has evolved into a powerful strategy and is applied from chemical biology to medicine. However, the complexity of in vivo systems cannot be matched by a single wavelength of light. Developing methods to combine and individually control multiple chromophores is crucial.

Predicting meaning in the dyad.

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Psychology: General
This study investigates the role of meaning prediction in dyadic interactions. Participants engaged in a semantic association game in which the predictability of upcoming word categories was manipulated. Results showed that predictability speeds up speech production in both interlocutors.

Constructing entrepreneurial identities: the case of entrepreneurial dyads

open access: yes, 2010
This thesis investigates the processes of identity construction and identity work in entrepreneurial dyads. Entrepreneurial dyads are defined as two-person teams, in which members are bound both by a strong social tie and by a common commitment to start ...
