Dynamic clamp for pull-in time reduction

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 1996
A dynamic clamp aimed at reducing the pull-in time of a digital phase-locked-loop circuit being fed by intermittent signals is presented. This clamp is useful when the phase-locked loop (PLL) is used as a frequency multiplier, and is based on the assumption that the input signal frequency will not change significantly during the period of disconnection.

Theoretical and experimental nonlinear dynamics of a clamped-clamped beam MEMS resonator

2008
Microelectromechanical resonators feature nonlineardynamic responses. A first-principles based modeling approach is proposed for a clamped-clamped beam resonator. Starting from the partial differential equation for the beam including geometric and electrostatic nonlinear effects, a reduced-order model is derived.

Dynamic-Clamp: From Principles to Applications.

2009
Dynamic-clamp is a fascinating electrophysiology technique that consists of merging living neurons with computational models. The dynamic-clamp (also called "conductance injection") allows experimentalists and theoreticians to challenge neurons (or any other type of cell) with complex conductance stimuli generated by a computer.
