Analysis of the behavior of a dynamic latch comparator

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Fundamental Theory and Applications, 1998
This brief deals with the behavior of a dynamic latch used as a voltage comparator. A detailed analysis of the fine settling phase is reported, putting in evidence the non-idealities which lead to comparison errors. A technique to minimize such errors is suggested. An experimental chip has been fabricated and measurements are reported and discussed.

Comparative studies on the dynamics of crosslinked insulin

European Biophysics Journal, 1994
Molecular dynamics simulations were carried out on an insulin crosslinked between the N-terminal A chain and the C-terminal B chain to form a so-called mini-proinsulin: N alpha-A1-N epsilon-B29-diaminosuberoyl insulin (DASI). To investigate the influence of crosslinking on the dynamics of the insulin moiety, the bridge was removed from a transient DASI

The dynamics of trust: Comparing humans to automation.

Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied, 2000
Complex industrial environments involve cooperation between operators and automation. The strategies used to allocate tasks to automation are a crucial component of that cooperation and are known to be affected by the operators' trust in the automation.

Comparative Relaxation Dynamics of Glucose and Maltitol

Pharmaceutical Research, 2006
To demonstrate the utility of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) for determining activation energy landscape in amorphous pharmaceutical systems throughout the sub-Tg and Tg regions.DSC was employed to determine the effective activation energies (E) of the relaxation in sub-Tg and Tg regions as well as the sizes of cooperatively rearranging ...

A dynamic analysis of a latched CMOS comparator

2004 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37512), 2004
In the implementation of high-performance CMOS over-sampling A/D converters, high-speed comparators are indispensable. This paper discusses the design and analysis of a low-power regenerative latched CMOS comparator, based on an analytical approach which gives a deeper insight into the associated trade-offs.

Dynamics and comparative statics of mutualistic communities

Journal of Theoretical Biology, 1979
Abstract The sensitivity of mutualistic communities to perturbations from equilibrium is examined, and the factors which regulate this sensitivity are discussed in both biological and mathematical terms. The response of equilibrium population densities to changes in environmental and biological parameters is also investigated.

Essays in comparative dynamics

2010
Problems in the theory of economic dynamics are tackled both by theoretical arguments and by use of specific examples. The work is divided into three essays. The first treats optimal control theory from an economic point of view, giving an exposition of the mathematical theory in terms of economic concepts.

A New Method to Compare Dynamical Systems

2007
This work presents a new method to compare two Temporal Fuzzy Chains (TFCs). The TFCs comparison is used to compare the temporal evolution of two dynamical systems (TFCs). Firstly, the two TFCs that represent the two DSs are obtained. After that, the two obtained TFCs are compared, so the similarityof the two TFCs is obtained.
