Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery in the Era of Robotics: Evolution, Eclipse, or Equilibrium?

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Minimally invasive colorectal surgery has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past three decades. Laparoscopy, once viewed with skepticism, is now firmly established as a standard approach, supported by robust randomized trials demonstrating oncologic safety and improved recovery compared to open surgery.

A Dynamic Offset Reduction Technique to Mitigate the Effect of Threshold Mismatch in Energy Efficient Comparators

open access: yesIEEE Access
This work proposes an energy-efficient offset reduction technique for dynamic comparators. An additional capacitor and four transistors are used to minimize the effect of threshold mismatch by dynamically sampling the common mode and differential signals.

Spikoder: Dual‐Mode Graphene Neuron Circuit for Hardware Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Spikoder, a graphene leaky integrate‐and‐fire circuit that operates as an encoder and a neuron in a spiking neural network (SNN), is introduced. A Spikoder‐driven double‐layer SNN shows an accuracy of 97.37% for the classification of the Modified National Institute of Standards and Technology dataset, demonstrating its potential as a key building block

AN EFFICIENT FULLY DIFFERENTIAL VOLTAGE COMPARATOR [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Science and Technology, 2018
With the compactness of the devices, the circuits are required with less delay, less area and less power consumption. An efficient fully digital-in-notion differential voltage comparator with the opamp-less approach is implemented in this paper.

Fault tolerance in super-scalar and VLIW processors [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
In this paper, we present a method for utilizing the spare capacity in super-scalar and very long instruction word (VLIW) processors to tolerate functional unit failures. Unlike previous work that was primarily interested in detection of transient faults,
