Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Nonlinear disturbance observer enhanced dynamic inversion control of missiles

open access: yes, 2003
Nonlinear dynamic inversion control (NDIC) is one of the most promising nonlinear control methods in aerospace engineering. For longitudinal dynamics of a missile, this paper proposes a nonlinear disturbance observer based approach to enhance its ...

Identifiability of linear dynamic networks

open access: yes, 2018
Dynamic networks are structured interconnections of dynamical systems (modules) driven by external excitation and disturbance signals. In order to identify their dynamical properties and/or their topology consistently from measured data, we need to make ...

Diffusion Spectrum Imaging Maps Early Axonal Loss and a Unique Progressive Signal in Neuronal Intranuclear Inclusion Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To delineate specific in vivo white matter pathology in neuronal intranuclear inclusion disease (NIID) using diffusion spectrum imaging (DSI) and define its clinical relevance. Methods DSI was performed on 42 NIID patients and 38 matched controls.

Dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) in a complex voltage disturbance compensation

open access: yes, 2019
Nowadays, a distribution network is operating in a stressful manner because of a complex voltage disturbance stirred by its nonlinear, intensified, sensitive and complex loading condition with vast proliferation of electronic equipment required for the ...

Functional and Structural Evidence of Neurofluid Circuit Aberrations in Huntington Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Disrupted neurofluid regulation may contribute to neurodegeneration in Huntington disease (HD). Because neurofluid pathways influence waste clearance, inflammation, and the distribution of central nervous system (CNS)–delivered therapeutics, understanding their dysfunction is increasingly important as targeted treatments emerge.

Clinical Validation of Plasma p‐217tau in Neurological Diseases

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Plasma p‐217tau is a minimally invasive but specific biomarker for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, its disease specificity remains to be clinically evaluated. We validated the reliability of the p‐217tau biomarker in 12 other neurological diseases.
