Fracturing mechanism of pre-damaged granite induced by multi-source dynamic disturbances in tunnels

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mining Science and Technology
To elucidate the fracturing mechanism of deep hard rock under complex disturbance environments, this study investigates the dynamic failure behavior of pre-damaged granite subjected to multi-source dynamic disturbances.

Time‐restricted feeding prior to Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection reduces tissue CD4+ T cells with limited impact on bacterial clearance

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Identification of Network Dynamics and Disturbance for a Multizone Building

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2019
We propose a method that simultaneously identifies a sparse transfer matrix and a disturbance signal for a multizone building’s temperature dynamics from the measurements of inputs and outputs. The proposed method is based on solving a convex optimization problem whose cost function involves an $\ell _{1}$ -penalty to promote a sparse solution ...

Generalized High-Order LADRC Tracking Control for VICTS Hollow Annular Direct-Drive Motor Considering Non-Stationary Disturbances

open access: yesActuators
This paper proposes a generalized high-order linear active disturbance rejection control (GHO-LADRC) method to suppress non-stationary disturbances in VICTS antenna direct-drive motors during high-dynamic scanning.

Improved Coefficient and Variance Estimation in Stable First-Order Dynamic Regression Models [PDF]

open access: yes
In dynamic regression models the least-squares coefficient estimators are biased in finite samples, and so are the usual estimators for the disturbance variance and for the variance of the coefficient estimators.

Develop a robust nonlinear controller for large aircraft by applying NDI, SMC and adaptive control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A nonlinear dynamic inversion (NDI) controller and a sliding mode controller are developed for large civil transport Boeing 747 in this thesis. Furthermore adaptive control theory is applied on both NDI controller and SMC controller to improve the ...

ON A DYNAMIC GAME PROBLEM WITH AN INDECOMPOSABLE SET OF DISTURBANCES [PDF]

open access: yesUral Mathematical Journal, 2019
For an abstract dynamic system, a game problem of retention of the motions in a given set of the motion histories is considered. The case of an indecomposable set of disturbances is studied. The set of successful solvability and a construction of a resolving quasistrategy based on the method of programmed iterations is proposed.
