Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Bias Correction in the Dynamic Panel Data Model with a Nonscalar Disturbance Covariance Matrix [PDF]
By using asymptotic expansion techniques approximation formulae are developed for the bias of ordinary and generalized Least Squares Dummy Variable (LSDV) estimators in dynamic panel data models.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Dynamic Guiard: Haptic Feedback of Disturbance Effects and Relative Dynamic Motion in Robotics [PDF]
Teleoperation enables performing tasks that are too demanding, too dangerous or spatially difficult to reach for direct human operation. Depending on the application, teleoperated robots operate in environments that are subject to dynamic disturbances ...
