The Static and the Dynamic Modulus of Elasticity of Recycled Aggregate Concrete
Advanced Materials Research, 2014The main aim of this contribution is description of the static and the dynamic modulus of elasticity of concrete containing recycled aggregate. Recycled construction and demolition waste, especially recycled concrete, is able to use as an aggregate for concrete, but using of recycled aggregate has a negative impact of concrete characteristic.

Dynamic method of measuring Young's modulus of elasticity
Journal of Scientific Instruments, 1964A dynamic method of measuring the Young's modulus of elasticity of a solid has been developed. This uses the resonance in the flexural vibrations of loaded fixed-free bars at frequencies below 200 c/s. The frequency equation has been derived for a fixed-free prismatic bar, carrying a heavy mass of precise finite dimensions at the free end.

The paper reports a study to predict the elastic modulus for ten carbonate rocks using the ultrasonic technique.

Measurement of the Modulus of Dynamic Elasticity of Staple Fibers
Textile Research Journal, 1961A description is given of an apparatus with the aid of which the modulus of dynamic elasticity of fibers can be determined at about 1000 cycles/sec. as a function of the strain. In principle the dynamic elasticity constant of the fiber is determined by measuring the resonance frequency of a cantilever spring which is loaded with the fiber.

Journal of Scientific Instruments, 1962A dynamic method of measuring torsional modulus of elasticity, at frequencies below 250 c/s, has been developed and has been used to measure this property for commercially pure specimens of copper, silver and constantan.
