Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Motion of rock masses on slope

open access: yesGeologija, 2006
This paper shows the different ways of how rock masses (stones, rocks, and blocks) move along slopes and for each different way of motion (free fall, bouncing, rolling, sliding, slowing down, lubrication, fluidization)adequatedynamicequationsaregiven ...

Enhanced Oscillation Criteria of Solutions for Half-Linear Dynamic Equations on Arbitrary Time Scales

open access: yesMathematics
This paper presents some oscillation criteria for second-order half-linear dynamic equations defined on unbounded above arbitrary time scales. These criteria offer sufficient conditions for all solutions of the equations to display oscillatory behavior ...

Stepanov-like pseudo almost periodic functions on time scales and applications to dynamic equations with delay

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2018
In this paper, we introduce the concept of Sp-pseudo almost periodicity on time scales and present some basic properties of it, including the translation invariance, uniqueness of decomposition, completeness and composition theorem.

Affine-periodic solutions for nonlinear dynamic equations on time scales

open access: yes, 2015
The existence of affine-periodic solutions for dynamic equations on time scales is studied. Mainly, via the topological degree theory, a general existence theorem is proved, which provides an effective method in the qualitative theory for nonlinear ...

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Advanced control concepts [PDF]

open access: yes
The selection of a trim solution that provides the space shuttle with the highest level of performance and dynamic control in the presense of wind disturbances and bias torques due to misalignment of rocket engines is described.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

The nonlinear Schroedinger equation: Solitons dynamics

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 2010
In this paper we investigate the dynamics of solitons occurring in the nonlinear Schroedinger equation when a parameter h->0. We prove that under suitable assumptions, the the soliton approximately follows the dynamics of a point particle, namely, the motion of its barycenter $q_h(t)$ satisfies the equation $ddot{q}_h(t)+\nabla V(q_h(t))=H_h(t ...
