Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Analysis of the Dynamic Service Flow Management Transactions Protocol for MAC IEEE 802.16. An Aproach

open access: yes
In this work the WiMax MAC Protocol for Dynamic Service Flow management and their transactions is analyzed by showing this several pitfalls of the specification and how this can affect the implementation of the protocol using Colored Petri Nets (CPNs)

Promoting dynamic adsorption of Pb2+ in a single pass flow using fibrous nano-TiO2/cellulose membranes

open access: yes, 2016
A variety of nano-TiO2/cellulose composite fibers (TiO2/CF) were synthesized via both in situ growing rutile TiO2 nanocrystals and electrostatic self-assembly of commercial nano rutile TiO2 particles onto cellulose fibers.

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

A dynamic non-linear flow model coupling temperature influence

open access: yesYouqi dizhi yu caishoulu
The existing non-linear flow model does not consider the influence of temperature change on the non-linear flow law. Therefore, based on the capillary flow model, the Hagen-Poiseuille equation, and the boundary layer theory, as well as the influence of ...
