Shape fluctuation-induced dynamic hysteresis
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2012We consider a system of Brownian particles confined in a two-dimensional bilobal enclosure whose walls are driven in time periodically by an external perturbation. The response of the particles under shape modulation is characterized by a relaxational delay which results in a non-vanishing area of the response function—field loop, response function ...

Hesitation phenomenon in dynamical hysteresis
Physical Review Letters, 1993The effect of the sweeping velocity on the hysteresis loop of a bistable system is examined in the case where the velocity is so large that the system is prevented from undergoing any transition during the forward sweep. The experiments, made on optical and electronic devices, evidence a dramatic instability (``hesitation'') of the return path of the ...

Scaling law for dynamical hysteresis
Physical Review Letters, 1990A one-dimensional theory of dynamical hysteresis in periodically switched bistable systems is formulated. The predictions of the theory are tested and verified by experiments on a bistable semiconductor laser. We find that the increase of the area of the hysteresis loop scales as the two-thirds power of the switching frequency.

Dynamic Hysteresis Loops Modeling of Electrical Steel With Harmonic Components
IEEE transactions on industry applications, 2020The broad application of electronic device in the power systems requires a practical model to characterize the hysteresis loops of electrical steel excited with harmonic components.

Hysteresis in structural dynamics
Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2012Abstract In this paper the Preisach hysteresis model is applied to determine the dynamic behavior of a steel column with mass on the top and loaded by an impulse force. The column is considered as a rigid element, while the fixed end of the column is modeled with a rotational spring of hysterestic characteristic.

The evolution of the dynamic hysteresis with electrical field amplitude (E0) and frequency (f) in the relaxor-based ferroelectric 0.71Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3–0.29PbTiO3 (PMN-29PT) single crystal has been investigated systematically.

A measuring procedure has been developed to determine the hysteresis loss as function of the magnetizing frequency. It was applied to single crystal frames of iron-silicon and tape wound cores of that alloy and metallic glasses. Actually the hysteresis loss energy is frequency dependent and to an extent that must not be neglected if the dynamic loss ...

A Dynamic Hysteresis-Based Iron Loss Calculation Method and Its Application in a PWM-Fed IPMSM
IEEE transactions on energy conversionFor PWM-fed motors, many harmonics are induced in the magnetic field by excitations, which makes accurate iron loss calculation more difficult. This paper presents a general iron loss calculation method based on a dynamic hysteresis model and finite ...

Dynamic hysteresis in magnetostrictive amorphous microwires
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2002Summary form only given. Amorphous magnetostrictive wires exhibit very rapid bistable magnetisation reversal (large Barkhausen jump). This property makes them unique for applications in security sensors and pulse generators. As operational frequencies become progressively higher, there is an interest in studying the magnetisation reversal in bistable ...
