A Tour Recommendation System Considering Implicit and Dynamic Information
Tourism has become one of the world’s largest service industries. Due to the rapid development of social media, more people like self-guided tours than package itineraries planned by travel agencies.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Edge-Enhanced Federated Optimization for Real-Time Silver-Haired Whirlwind Trip
We propose an edge-enhanced federated learning framework for real-time itinerary optimization in elderly oriented adventure tourism, addressing the critical need for adaptive scheduling that balances activity intensity with health constraints. The system

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified

Optimizing group utility in itinerary planning: a strategic and crowd-aware approach
Itinerary recommendation is a complex sequence prediction problem with numerous practical applications. The task becomes significantly more challenging when optimizing multiple factors simultaneously, such as user queuing times, crowd levels, attraction ...

Deep learning based real-time tourist spots detection and recognition mechanism
More and more information on tourist spots is being represented as pictures rather than text. Consequently, tourists who are interested in a specific attraction shown in pictures may have no idea how to perform a text search to get more information about

The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...
