Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Effects of Contact Interface Roughness and Sample Mass on Vibration Characteristics in Ultrasonic Infrared Thermography

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Nonlinear vibration plays a vital role in ultrasonic infrared thermography testing due to contact-collision effect between a horn and sample, and the effects of contact roughness and sample mass on vibration characteristics of a horn-sample system are ...

Three Phase Induction Motor Drive: A Systematic Review on Dynamic Modeling, Parameter Estimation, and Control Schemes

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
An induction motor is generally used in industrial applications because it is reliable, robust, and low cost. Reliability is one of the essential parameters based on which the motor is selected, and the induction motor primarily comes into force.

Dynamic Transitions for Quasilinear Systems and Cahn-Hilliard equation with Onsager mobility [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The main objectives of this article are two-fold. First, we study the effect of the nonlinear Onsager mobility on the phase transition and on the well-posedness of the Cahn-Hilliard equation modeling a binary system.

Dynamics of Immunological Models

open access: yesActa Biotheoretica, 2010
We analyse the effect of the regulatory T cells (Tregs) in the local control of the immune responses by T cells. We obtain an explicit formula for the level of antigenic stimulation of T cells as a function of the concentration of T cells and the parameters of the model.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
