Dynamic step BI-RRT UAV path planning algorithm

open access: yesJournal of Hebei University of Science and Technology, 2019
To solve the problems of traditional RRT algorithm, such as slow convergence and long path length, the dynamic step BI-RRT algorithm is proposed. The sampling efficiency of the RRT algorithm is improved by using a target-oriented sampling strategy.

Desert Plant Inspired Hierarchical Nanofibrous Membranes for Integrated Solar Desalination and Heavy Metal Remediation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An Alhagi maurorum inspired hierarchical composite membrane (NFCu) was developed by integrating heavy metal remediation and solar‐driven interfacial evaporation in a single platform. Beyond the photothermal effect, a localized photocatalytic process is realized on the CuO surface, deepening the mechanistic understanding of light–matter–water ...

Bridging the Gap between Task Planning and Path Planning [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Autonomous service robots have to recognize and interpret their environment to be able to interact with it. This paper will focus on service tasks such as serving a glass of water where a humanoid two-arm-system has to acquire an object from the scene. A

From Bulk to Colloidal Nanocrystals: Top‐Down Synthesis of Highly Luminescent Cs2ZrCl6:Te4+ Double Perovskite Nanocrystals for X‐Ray Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Top‐down ultrasonication produces highly emissive Cs2ZrCl6:Te4+ nanocrystals (NCs) with a PLQY of 65%, which is higher compared to that of the NCs synthesized by typical bottom‐up hot‐injection synthesis. The colloidal Cs2ZrCl6:Te4+ NCs have been found to be potential candidates for x‐ray scintillation imaging.

Covalent Functionalization of 2D Semiconductors: A Roadmap to Advanced Electronic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Review presents recent advances in the covalent functionalization strategies for two‐dimensional semiconductors and their implementation in modern technologies. Layered materials are modified through diverse molecular chemistries (e.g., thiols, diazonium salts, alkyl halides, and electron‐deficient species) to tailor their surface properties ...

Protein‐Nanoarchitectures for Low‐Field Intracellular Electro‐Immunomodulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
DHQ‐SDH‐mediated binding of AuNPs drives the formation of interconnected, chain‐like nanoarchitectures with enhanced electrical conductivity. These conductive assemblies undergo macrophage uptake and enable low‐field electrical stimulation, promoting M1‐to‐M2 phenotypic switching with decreased iNOS and increased CD206 expression. Such protein‐mediated

Receding horizon control for mobile robot path planning in unknown dynamic environments

open access: yes, 2014
Path planning is one of the critical issues in mobile robot applications. Traditional methods for path planning in unknown dynamic environment generally plan one step rather than multiple controlling steps.
