Power Enhancement under Partial Shading Condition Using a Two-Step Optimal PV Array Reconfiguration

open access: yesInternational Journal of Photoenergy, 2021
Under partial shading conditions, photovoltaic (PV) arrays are subjected to different irradiance levels caused by nonuniform shading. As a result, a mismatch between the modules, a reduction in the power generated, and the hotspot phenomenon will be ...

Partial Reconfigurable FIR Filtering System Using Distributed Arithmetic

open access: yesInternational Journal of Reconfigurable Computing, 2010
Dynamic partial reconfiguration (DPR) allows us to adapt hardware resources to meet time-varying requirements in power, resources, or performance. In this paper, we present two new DPR systems that allow for efficient implementations of 1D FIR filters on

Design of dynamic reconfiguration method for kill chains based on bi-level optimization [PDF]

open access: yesZhihui kongzhi yu fangzhen
Focusing on the problem of kill chain dynamic reconfiguration, this paper first analyzes the phenomenon where the failure of combat units due to enemy attacks or system malfunctions leads to degradation or interruption of kill chain effectiveness.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Selective and Precise Editing of Digital Polymers Through Parallel or Series Toehold‐Mediated Strand Displacement

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A sequence‐encoded supramolecular construct containing two accessible toeholds is developed herein for enabling multiple editing operations. By introducing specific input strands, it is possible to selectively erase or rewrite digital content through parallel or series toehold‐mediated strand displacement (PTMSD or STMSD).

Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.
