Performance study of end-to-end traffic-aware routing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
There has been a lot research effort on developing reactive routing algorithms for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) over the past few years. Most of these algorithms consider finding the shortest path from source to destination in building a route ...

Enhancing Reliability of Tactical MANETs by Improving Routing Decisions

open access: yesJournal of Low Power Electronics and Applications, 2018
Mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs) have been primarily designed to enhance tactical communications in a battlefield. They provide dynamic connectivity without requiring any pre-existing infrastructure. Their multi-hop capabilities can improve radio coverage

Dynamic Routing for Social Information Sharing [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, 2017
Today mobile users are intensively interconnected thanks to the emerging mobile social networks, where they share location-based information with each other when traveling on different routes and visit different areas of the city. In our model the information collected is aggregated over all users' trips and made publicly available as a public good ...

An Emergency-Adaptive Routing Scheme for Wireless Sensor Networks for Building Fire Hazard Monitoring

open access: yesSensors, 2010
Fire hazard monitoring and evacuation for building environments is a novel application area for the deployment of wireless sensor networks. In this context, adaptive routing is essential in order to ensure safe and timely data delivery in building ...

Dynamic routing in circuit-switched non-hierarchical networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
This thesis studies dynamic routing in circuit-switched non-hierarchical networks based on learning automata algorithms. The application of a mathematical model for a linear reward penalty algorithm is explained.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Dynamic flows with adaptive route choice [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Programming, 2020
AbstractWe study dynamic network flows and introduce a notion of instantaneous dynamic equilibrium (IDE) requiring that for any positive inflow into an edge, this edge must lie on a currently shortest path towards the respective sink. We measure current shortest path length by current waiting times in queues plus physical travel times.

Performance evaluation of a new end-to-end traffic-aware routing in MANETs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
There has been a lot of research effort on developing reactive routing algorithms for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) over the past few years. Most of these algorithms consider finding the shortest path from source to destination in building a route ...

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Research on dynamic routing mechanism in network simulation

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2007
A fundamental requirement for any network simulation environment is the realistic forwarding of packets from a source to a destination in the simulated topology. The routing decisions will be affected by topology changes. In almost all current simulators ...
