Research on dynamic routing mechanism in network simulation

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2007
A fundamental requirement for any network simulation environment is the realistic forwarding of packets from a source to a destination in the simulated topology. The routing decisions will be affected by topology changes. In almost all current simulators ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Wireless Mesh network secure routing mechanism based on dynamic reputation

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2019
Aiming at the problem that the wireless Mesh network (WMN) security routing mechanism was scarce and internal malicious nodes drop data packets during data transmission,a secure routing mechanism based on dynamic reputation (SRMDR) for wireless Mesh ...

Dynamic Highway-Node Routing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We introduce a dynamic technique for fast route planning in large road networks. For the first time, it is possible to handle the practically relevant scenarios that arise in present-day navigation systems: When an edge weight changes (e.g., due to a traffic jam), we can update the preprocessed information in 2-40ms allowing subsequent fast queries in ...

Fluctuations in pedestrian dynamics routing choices

open access: yesPNAS Nexus, 2022
Abstract Routing choices of walking pedestrians in geometrically complex environments are regulated by the interplay of a multitude of factors such as local crowding, (estimated) time to destination, and (perceived) comfort. As individual choices combine, macroscopic traffic flow patterns emerge.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Freight Operations Modelling for Urban Delivery and Pickup with Flexible Routing: Cluster Transport Modelling Incorporating Discrete-Event Simulation and GIS

open access: yesInfrastructures, 2021
Urban pickup and delivery (PUD) activities are important for logistics operations. Real operations for general freight involve a high degree of complexity due to daily variability.

Investigating Dynamic Routing in Tree-Structured LSTM for Sentiment Analysis

open access: yesConference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing, 2019
Deep neural network models such as long short-term memory (LSTM) and tree-LSTM have been proven to be effective for sentiment analysis. However, sequential LSTM is a bias model wherein the words in the tail of a sentence are more heavily emphasized than ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
