We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

World radiocommunication conference 12 : implications for the spectrum eco-system
Spectrum allocation is once more a key issue facing the global telecommunications industry. Largely overlooked in current debates, however, is the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC).

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Admission Control and Interference Management in Dynamic Spectrum Access Networks
We study two important aspects to make dynamic spectrum access work in practice: the admission policy of secondary users (SUs) to achieve a certain degree of quality of service and the management of the interference caused by SUs to primary users (PUs ...

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

NEW MODEL USING DSA TECHNIQUES AND COASIAN BARGAINING AGREEMENTS FOR SPECTRUM MANAGEMENT IN KOSOVO [PDF]
In each country spectrum is scarce and expensive and as such it should treated carefully in terms of efficiency usage. The spectrum can be reallocated, reassigned and resold through agreements between the participants.

Optimal Dynamic Spectrum Management Algorithms for Multi-User Full-Duplex DSL
Driven by the exceedingly high data rates achieved in single-user implementations, interest in a multi-user (MU) full-duplex (FDX) transmission for digital subscriber line (DSL) networks is surging. However, near-end crosstalk (NEXT) is no longer avoided
