Dynamic time warping (DTW) is a widely used metric for comparing time series data, offering elasticity in alignment. While the original DTW allows infinite elasticity without penalty, the wDTW imposes a constant penalty regardless of elastic length.

Subsequence Join in Streaming Time Series under Dynamic Time Warping
Subsequence join in time series is to search for couples of similar subsequences from multiple time series. The task is useful in data mining on time series; nevertheless, it is extremely difficult because of its enormous computational cost.

Adaptable Tile‐Based Pneumatic Origami through Structurally Coupled Localized Actuation
This article presents tile‐based pneumatic origami structures with rigid tiles and flexible fabric creases, achieving adaptable properties including morphing shape, selective multistability, and tunable stiffness. Independently pressurized folding bladders at each crease enable structurally coupled localized actuation of origami structures.

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...
